This secret passage is also known as “the Tunnel”..

We all come to points in our lives where we find ourselves going through hard times. In the darkest hours, it can be hard to hold on to hope.. so this movie is dedicated to “the Light at the End of the Tunnel”. There’s a crown chakra binaural beat frequency in the audio soundtrack.. maybe it uplifts the thoughts?

Crystal Cave Spelunking with an InfraRed Camera

There is a secret cave in the back yard of Nelson BC known to the local hippies as the Crystal Cave..

Access to the Crystal Cave is a difficult hike over mountainous terrain but the destination is truly rewarding. Chunks of crushed white quartz crystal lay sparkling in pure mountain spring water. An amazing variety of plant life resides in the canyon leading up to the cave.

The crystal cave itself has a narrow opening you must scramble through on all fours, but once inside an adult can stand at full height in most places. The cave forms a large L shape as it cuts into the depths of the mountain.

At the first bend there is an extra chamber with a treasure chest full of pennies, empty beer cans, and a burned out deck of playing cards. After passing the bend the cave becomes pitch black and silent. This second corridor continues for several tens of metres and then dead ends. My infrared camera picked up some interesting cave paintings on the crystalline rocks inside the very back of the cave.

There was a large flat black rock on the cave floor which made a perfect meditation seat. The silence was so deep I could hear my ears ringing. After staring into the blackness for an eternity, I could just barely make out a reflection of daylight on the far wall of the cave back at the bend where the chambers were located.

If you’re in to meditation and like to face fears of claustrophobia, darkness, loneliness, rats, spiders, falling rocks — MORTALITY — then perhaps an afternoon of meditation in the crystal cave is the perfect idea! I certainly felt taller on the inside after facing these fears in myself.

Crazy Shaman Hikes the Pulpit Rock Trail in Nelson BC Canada (deep delta binaural)

I have climbed the Pulpit Rock and I have no sermon for you.

Technical Notes:

I shot these photos using a Nikon D5000 and a zoom lens. Selected photos were shined up and exported as an origami photo slideshow using Aperture 3.

Next I created a simple harmony chord track with a few little twists using GarageBand 11 and an M-AUDIO KeyRig 49. I exported my audio creation at CD quality to generate an .aif file.

iMovie 11 was used to merge the Aperture 3 photo slideshow, GarageBand 11 .aif audio track, and a tri-thalmic binaural beat frequency, said to stimulate the third eye.

The red headphones are new.. I finally found a good stock image and purchased some reprint rights and I feel good about this — supporting artists and keeping copyright content legit. I’ll let you wonder how I made that video effect but will let you know it can be done using only iMovie 11 and Mac OSX Snow Leopard’s Preview program.

SkyShine – Hunting for Nibiru (solfeggio binaural)

A look at Earth’s star Sol circa April 05, 2011. Audio track contains a Solfeggio binaural beat frequency rumoured to help repair DNA.

Technical Notes:

Some experimentation with 3 strip technicolor, color correction, composite mixing, shutter speed, iris and rainbow optics throughout — shot with a Panasonic AG-HMC150P HD video camera at 1920x1080p in progressive mode 30 frames per second. Video editor is Final Cut Express v4.01 with some extra filters from FxFactory Pro.

Filming the sun is challenging because it is such a bright object. At points in this film you will notice the sun dimming and picking up definition as the shutter speed is increased. At maximum shutter (1/1000) the manual iris is next selected and slowly increased until maximum, at which point the screen goes dark.

The protective glass over the camera lens can create some interesting optical effects including rainbows, flares and concentric glowing ring formations. In a sense, studying this video will help you know what sorts of “artifacts” are optically produced, allowing you to detect genuine media vs frauds more easily.

For example, there has been some discussion of an unknown star named Nibiru and some videos on the internet which seem to show another, smaller star near Earth’s sun (Sol). These videos are rather intriguing to watch. I decided to look for myself using a reasonably good HD camera via various optical and video editing methods. I collected video footage in two different Canadian provinces (Alberta and BC) over two days (April 04 and April 05, 2011) and the results you can watch for yourself in this movie..

Kalamalka Lake Beach Panorama

Here’s a short clip taken from Kalamalka Lake beach in Vernon, British Columbia during my last road trip. Canadian Geese can be seen preening themselves on the water under a cloudy sky:

Technical Notes:

This clip contains an audio experiment consisting of a Schumann resonant binaural beat frequency riding on a higher pitched Solfeggio frequency. While not quite as sexy as the deep bass binaurals I’ve created in the past, this one should be audible with standard headphones so everyone can try it.

Schumann resonance is designed to clear your mind, refresh your emotions, and open your heart. This particular Solfeggio frequency awakens your intuition. It’s pretty short so it might not be enough to synchronize your brainwaves.. just thought I’d put it out there. Let me know if you’re interested in a longer audio track and I’ll create one for you.

Golden Alchemy Crystal Bowl

It was my honour and privilege to to play this golden alchemy crystal bowl.
May its sacred tone open your heart and fill your soul with divine bliss.

Technical Notes:

This video was recorded using a Panasonic AG-HMC150P camera with a professional R0de shotgun mic. Video editing was done with Final Cut Express v4.01 and some filters from FxFactory Pro v2.5

We filmed this video against a grey screen (my first time using this colour) and the result was disastrous! It turns out grey screens have a lot of blue and green in them, and my choice of a blue shirt, grey trim, and a grey frosting on the crystal bowl made it impossible to get the chroma key to work over the whole video image. Oh well, I’ll remember to wear brown or red next time!

Two copies of the crystal bowl clip were chroma keyed onto some forest brook footage. Color Correction, Sharpen Chroma (FxPlug), Chroma Keyer, and Synthesizer (FxPlug) video filters were then applied to achieve the super bright colors and animation effects.
