HD stock video

i’ve been busy making high definition video clips for istockvideo.com..

it’s a lot of work:

- planning
- shooting the video
- importing and encoding the video
- editing/rendering
- exporting the video
- uploading the video (250 MB to 1 GB in size)
- titling, describing, and keywording

probably about 100+ hours so far invested in istockvideo, with 77 videos waiting in their inspection queue. this week istock bottlenecked the video uploads to 25 maximum in an attempt to catch up with their backlog. (some of my videos have been in their queue since june)

well i don’t like that amount of outside influence on my success.. maybe someday i’ll get approved videos on istock but for now i’m going to branch out a little and start adding the same video clips to alwaysHD.com. we shall see how that goes, but apparently alwaysHD queue times are far more reasonable at a couple of business days instead of months.

in other news a realtor asked me how much a video walkthru for a three bedroom house would cost.. which is great.. this will be awesome, getting paid to shoot video. but i wonder how much to charge?
